19. Any questions from the audience?
No questions? Just as well! ;)

20. Yes, but what are your thoughts on yaoi?
I'm not really a fan of explicit writing. Boys & romance, all for me, but yaoi... too explicit with not so much a story line is just no good for me.

21. What's your favorite thing about Dreamwidth?
The companions I have over here, whether they are on my dwircle or active users in communities I also am "active" in.
18. What don't you talk about here, either because it's too personal or because you don't have the energy?
Oh, I don't talk about a lot of stuff here. Because I don't think it belongs here, especially not in a non-friendslocked entry. OR because I'm just too tired to post. I actually cannot think about ONE thing I post regularly about.

16. What are you glad you did but haven't really had a chance to post about?
On an impulse I checked out whether there were buses from Lyon to Paderborn. I'm happy I did it, even if there were none.
17. How many people on your reading list do you know IRL?
6/20. With some of the others I had also letter or other exchanges at some point.
15. What's your current obsession? What about it captures your imagination?
My current obsession? Dancing! In all of it forms. I really want to try another Zumba class, to do some rock or something similar with M. and I really enjoy Just Dance 2 on the Wii. Being in the office all day long makes me probably pretty giddy. Fandom-wise I'm not actively anywhere. I'm pursuing my way through the books that fill the apartment in hope something really nice turns up. Wait and see, after the "Tokyo chaos" & "Tokyo atomic" books (which I'm finishing right now) the next up is a novel in Japanese. Oh, and I have another Polish book by Arkady Fiedler that's pretty interesting. "Clash of civilisations" is waiting in the office if I run out of my reading when on the metro to work. (If you didn't know that I always have a couple of started books at most times...)
14. Did you have a gateway fandom? Still in it? Why or why not? Is there a community for it on DW?
I guess the fandom that brought me to the internets and role-playing is Elfquest. There's a sporadically active community, [community profile] elfquest, but I'm not really active in the fandom any longer. I lost touch with it and in a way grew out of it. The fandom that brought me to fanfiction and further into fandomness -and a fandom that I'm still quite fond of, though not really active anymore in, too- is Harry Potter. There are at least a dozen of related communities on dreamwidth. Basically the more recent volumes of the series have diminished my enthusiasm. I also do not take the time to look around for nice fics, despite wanting to read some from time to time.
Way earlier I had other fandoms. As an avid reader, books inspired me. With a friend we cosplayed some of Karl May's characters, made up stories, chatted about the universe and and and. (Winnetou and Old Shatterhand. ♥)

An eventful week!
What I want to tell you about is having been to a Zumbla class organised by a friend and his buddies to collect donations for the OXFAM Trailwalker event.
I've heard about Zumba from [livejournal.com profile] tinuviel about two or three weeks ago, when she talked about the WII-Game and from L. when he promoted the event the week after. Since that dance (because it is a dance) came up so often within such a short period of time, I decided I just had to have a go at it! Despite all my problems with rhythm and coordination.
We had an hour scheduled and... Clotilde, the teacher, had us sweating after a couple of minutes. So intensive! But also so very much fun! (I haven figured out yet whether it was the participants or the music or the workout or everything together. I guess I'll have to visit one of the regular lessons she gives all over Paris to see!)
Zumba is like a mix of elements from all latin dances. Salsa, Tango, you have some Hip Hop style things and... it looks really sexy and cool. Well, it looks cool on pros like Clotilde... because we all had fits of laughter trying to follow her and feeling ridiculous.
Today, I do feel my legs. But I guess I just need to work out more! :)

PS: Two friends within a week talked to me about Salsa. Now, I really don't manage any of that hip-swing stuff, but... I guess if they go and tell me it's fun I might check it out to. Maybe one can learn about rhythm?
PS2: Which actually means I'm absolutely decided to get some dancing Wii-games.

Three weeks of Dreamwidth questions )
I don't feel like I can answer in more than three sentences to those questions... But don't hesitate to ask for precisions!
o9. Are there two people on your reading list that you think should meet?
Most of the people on my reading list know each other anyway, so...

10. Tell me about your default icon.
I don't have a default icon.

11. What features do you think Dreamwidth should have that it doesn't currently?
I would find interesting to know who was lately looking on my entries, but if I remember correctly such a feature is highly discussed... and finally even on the site where it is available I only use it occasionally. So nothing of importance.
7. What is your favorite community on Dreamwidth?
It's [community profile] exercise_every_day.

8. What community do you wish was more active?
There are so many who would need some more activity. I can't pinpoint just a single one!
Ich denke es bleibt beim klassischen Studiengang und ich erspare mir eine Menge Stress!

5. How about when you're not on the computer?
When I'm not on the computer? I'm usually either sleeping, eating or working (= either internship or studying - both home and at university). Lately, since the sun is shining we're trying to have fun outdoors, lounging around in the park with friends, talking walks around the neighbourhood (or outside of Paris) and enjoying life. I'll need to reinstall some sporty habit, too, because... I just feel like it. I miss it.

Have another one:
6. What do you wish people who read your journal knew about you?
I can't say. I wish they knew I care, but that it feels lately as if I'm growing distant. It's basically that I'm communicating less and less through my journal, and most of those who are on my dwircle and LJ-friendlist do the same. I don't feel like I have anything to say anyway - and if I have something, my journal isn't necessary the way I want to communicate. Does it sound as complicated as it feels to me?
4. What do you do online when you're not on DW?
I'm still researching for that *cough* homework I need to hand in tomorrow. *cough*
Actually lately I haven't been much on the internet, often only checking my mails. Else I still waste my time with dshini... else it language-related stuff. I've lately looked more into Spanish and scratched the surface of Chinese, Arabic and Korean.
2. Why did you choose your journal name?
Easy one. Because it is my name!

Let's have another one...

3. Do you crosspost? Why or why not?
I do not crosspost most of my posts since I do not feel at ease with Livejournal, their security breeches and what not. I do though usually crosspost what I judge important enough or to remind my friends that they can check on me over here. (Those posts are set friends-only on LJ.)
But I do read more or less regularly my friends' posts - more or less regularly meaning usually at least once every two weeks, but usually more frequently.

Für die die die Dual-Studiumsfrage interessiert, ich habe auf ein paar Kommentare zu meinem letzten Post geantwortet.
martyna: Totoro Plushies in front of netbook (netbook)
A small remark before beginning: I'm taking the questions from [personal profile] schattenstern's list.

On to the question #1 )

Momentan bleibt die grosse Frage: nächstes Jahr Dual-Studium oder nicht?
martyna: Totoro Plushies in front of netbook (netbook)
...does anyone want me to do it?

Exams and internship are not a good combination.

I'm tired and right now fed up with my electronic appliances which don't want to behave. Or at least not behave the way I want them to behave. So I guess I'm going to read something for my pleasure. It's been a long time.

(Weil eben so enorm.)
martyna: one of my pyjamas and a hair brush (getting ready)
It's 7.30 Saturday morning and I'm up and about even though I don't have classes today. Don't worry, I have trouble sleeping lately and try to accommodate with it the best I can. Actually I thought, now having signed my internship engagement -only the university's signature is still necessary- I'd calm down and sleep better. Well, it seems not.
I'll be with a big, international bank, while not on the exact mission I wanted to be, it will be something related closely. I guess I'll able to tell you more in two weeks time since I start in a little more than a week.
This means of course, that I should absolutely rock the exams next week (and those the week after) to limit the time I'll be absent from the internship right at its beginning due to repassing exams. We'll do what we can, but they have been informed by me that taking me later on means I'd be more available.
I'll be there until September. This means no holidays. Holidays are overrated if you can't go somewhere nice anyway, right? Next holidays: Christmas for exam preparation. :3

Maybe I could start today's revisions. (Especially since I've more or less planned to see friends for lunch and tomorrow we're finally going to see Yamato - Les tambours japonais.
Precious time.)

Is there any way I can leave for Japan to help out and pass it as an internship?
