Nintendo DS
Apr. 5th, 2010 09:08 pmSo I've recently learnt that I could use anki on my DS. If, yes, if only I had a little add on to it. The add-on mentioned on some site is Play Yan (プレイやん), explained in this article (or on the Japanese amazon). It's been out a couple of years already (and it seems quite expensive, too). Most people seem really happy about this tool, but some mentioned in their reviews there are other, similar extensions available on the market. As I know nothing about games and game-technology, the question is up to you game-savvy folks.
Do you know how to put anki on the DS? An alternative to Play Yan? Just who or where on could answer my question?
(I can't explain why I'm posting suddenly so much. Sorry folks!)

It serves as a thin client for anki itself, can sync two days in advance and supports soundfiles for pronounciation. Setting it up seems complicated though, but i can't test it myself, due to not using anki (or knowing anything about it).
And i am noone. Just a future past.
Dear future past,
